Our Proactive Care and Preventative Maintenance services offers tailored solutions to meet your unique needs. Whether you require specific maintenance services or wish to customize the scope of your care plan, we are committed to providing flexible and personalized options to ensure optimal home performance and client satisfaction.
Disclaimer for Appliance Maintenance Services
Please be advised that our Maintenance Services contracts is not an insurance policy, nor is it a repair or replacement contract. This plan is designed to offer maintenance services, which must be utilized within 12 months from the date of purchase. If the services are not utilized within this time frame, the entitlement to these services will expire and they will no longer be available.
Important Notes:
- Dryer vent cleaning to the exterior is not included any maintenance services or plans, but is available as an add-on. The cost for this service is additional and depends on the condition and accessibility of the vent, which can only be assessed on-site. We will provide a quote for this service once we have evaluated the situation.
**Installation Requirements for Maintenance Services:**
- Appliances must be completely installed and functioning before the initiation of any maintenance services - Installations must adhere to all relevant codes and industry standards to ensure safety and operational efficiency - Appliances should be set up in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines, ensuring adequate space for both operation and maintenance. For example, any modifications, like additional flooring in the kitchen, should not
obstruct the servicing or removal of appliances.
Water Filter Replacement (if applicable) - Important Notice: Due to the quality and design of some filter assemblies, attempting to replace an old filter can cause damage & loss of water & ice functions, especially if the filter hasn't been changed in a long time. If you request us to replace the filter, please be aware that any potential damage to the filter head assembly will be your responsibility.
Key Points:
1. Scheduling Responsibility: The client is responsible for scheduling the maintenance service appointments within the 12-month period. For the Kitchen & Laundry Maintenance Package, three visits are included. The Proactive Appliance Care Plan offers unlimited visits. All services must be completed before the expiration date.
2. Plan Inclusions and Exclusions: The cost for All Services, the Kitchen & Laundry Maintenance Package or the Proactive Appliance Care Plan does not include the cost of general home or appliance cleaning services that arise from normal use or accidents.
3. Discount on Repairs: Clients with our Kitchen & Laundry Maintenance Service Package or Proactive Appliance Care Plan receive a 10% discount on all repairs and services.
4. Scope of Maintenance Services: Our services aim to enhance the performance of your appliances. However, we do not guarantee restoration to a "like-new" condition, nor do we ensure future issues won't arise due to normal wear and tear.
5. Pre-existing Conditions: Our plan does not cover any pre-existing conditions. It is the client's responsibility to address any defects found during maintenance or diagnostics, such as corroded water supply lines.
6. Additional Repair Costs: Any additional repairs arising from our maintenance services, such as leaksdiscovered during maintenance, will incur extra costs. These costs require client approval and acceptance of responsibility.
7. Liability Limitations: We will perform standard maintenance using industry best practices, but we are notresponsible for any adverse effects resulting from inherent design issues or poor-quality components of the appliance. This includes any parts that may become unstable or fail during standard maintenance procedures.
8. Additional Costs and Services Not Included:
- The cost of water or air filter replacements is not included, given the variety of types and brands available. Clients are responsible for these costs.
9. Responsibility for Repairs: Any issues found during diagnostics or maintenance must be addressed by the
client. Repair costs, if any, are the responsibility of the client. Plans renew automatically unless cancel
